Going Home

SITTING IN THE STATION ON MY OWN
I WILL SOON BE ON MY WAY
THE SUMMER’S OVER NOW
I’M GOING HOME

I’VE HAD FUN WHILE I’VE BEEN IN THIS TOWN
BUT ALL GOOD TIMES HAVE TO END
I’VE SAID MY GOODBYES
TO MY NEW FRIENDS

SPEEDING THROUGH THE OPEN COUNTRYSIDE
AUTUMN LEAVES ARE TURNING BROWN
I’M HEADING BACK
TO MY HOME TOWN

THE SUMMER’S GONE, I’M GOING HOME
THE SUMMER’S GONE, I’M GOING HOME

NOW I’M NEARLY HOME I CANNOT WAIT
TO SEE THE OLD FACES AGAIN
ALTHOUGH I EXPECT
THAT NOTHING’S CHANGED
(STILL THE SAME)
NOTHING’S CHANGED
(STILL THE SAME)
NOTHING’S CHANGED
(STILL THE SAME)
NOTHING’S CHANGED
(STILL THE SAME)
NOTHING’S CHANGED
(STILL THE SAME)
NOTHING’S CHANGED
(STILL THE SAME)

I’M GOING HOME.
